Welcome to burnin.us, a blog where we explore the bible through the lens of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am passionate about proclaiming and teaching the message of Jesus, discipleship, and leadership development. For over 15 years, I’ve served in youth ministry, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of Christ in young lives. I am dedicated to igniting the flames of grace and fostering Christ-centered living.
What sparked the fire?
My journey towards creating this blog began with a powerful encounter anchored in Luke 24:13-35. Verse 32 which reads: “Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked to us on the road, while He opened to us the Scriptures?” resonated deeply. It unveiled two truths:
- All Scripture is centered on Jesus Christ (Luke 24:27).
- The message of Jesus has the power to deeply transform our hearts (Luke 24:32).
This realization transformed how I read my bible and ignited a fire within me, shaping the core of burnin.us, which is:
Exploring the centrality of Christ in scripture and sharing insights to fan the flames in your heart.
